Bl. Michael Rua: A Brief Sketch &amp; Anecdotes and sayings
</title>
<description>&lt;img src='http://donboscoindia.com/english/resourcephoto/p471.jpg' width=100 align=left  &gt;
We are celebrating the year of Don Rua, with the aim of coming closer to Don Bosco through the study and imitation of his loyal disciple in his dynamic fidelity to him. I was asked to give a talk last year to inaugurate this celebration. I made a study of the biography of the Beatus written by Peter Lappin under the title `The Wine and The Chalice.` The first part of this talk contains a brief sketch of the important phases of his life. The second part contains some anecdotes and significant sayings of Don Rua.

The Role of God-Experience in Youth Ministry
</title>
<description>
It took me humility to accept the fact that a weekend retreat with a deep God-experience transforms young people more decidedly than a week long seminar!

Beyond The Secret
</title>
<description>
I had heard a lot about the book that followed the sensational video production. I looked for an opportunity to read it. And in the recent months almost every bookshop I entered had the book exhibited at the entrance among bestsellers. I couldn`t get to read the book since I kept giving out as gifts the copies I had bought. Then mysteriously one day the book came to me. That is THE SECRET: you get what you want!

Taiz&eacute;: A New Way of being Church Today
</title>
<description>
What does Taiz&eacute; mean to you: hymns, youth gatherings, Br Roger? At least to me, Taiz&eacute; meant only this much since my first contact with it during the international ``Pilgrimage of Trust on Earth`` held in Madras, India, in 1988. However, after twenty years, this na&iuml;ve picture fell apart during my recent stay there in April 2008.

Attitude is everything
</title>
<description>&lt;img src='http://donboscoindia.com/english/resourcephoto/p392.png' width=100 align=left  &gt;
Anybody can have a positive attitude when things are going well. What really matters is its how you act when things are going badly that determines the strength of your character. An appropriate attitude means feeling hopeful in challenging times.
