If sorrows never come single, it`s the same with blessing too.They don`t come single. They come in pairs. Today Don Bosco College witnessed two great blessings. One of an ultra modern computer lab and the other of a new college bus.The rector, Fr. S. Lourdusamy had much reason to be happy at the twin blessings.

GROUPS AND MOVEMENTS - ANIMATORS` TRAINING: PHASE 1 - BATCH 2

Phase 1 training for the second batch of animators of Bosco Media Clubs (BMC) and Bosco Youth in Christ (BYC) was held on 24th July, 2010 at Citadel.

The members of the executive councils of the various organs of the Salesian family in the Province of Chennai met at Citadel on 11th July (Sunday) 2010, at 11.00 a.m. for their second annual Joint Council Meeting of the Salesian Family.

ANNUAL ATHLETIC MEET - DON BOSCO, EGMORE, CHENNAI HELD ON 17.07.2010

The Annual Athletic Sports Meet of Don Bosco Mat. Hr. Sec. School, Egmore was prestigiously held at Raja Rathinam Stadium on Saturday the 17th of July 2010. The Guest of Honour for the Inaugural session was Smt. Letika Saran IPS, DGP of Tamilnadu. Rev. Fr. Stanley Ignatius SDB, Principal welcomed the gathering with a message ``To Play the Game with true Sportsmanship``.

SPORTS DAY AT ST. BEDE`S - 103 UNBEATEN!!!

The 103rd annual sports day of St. Bede`s was held on Saturday 10th of July, 2010 at St. Bede`s ground. Mr. K. Periaiah, I.P.S., Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mylapore was the chief-guest for the Inaugural function.

INM Administrators Meeting

One day meeting for all the Administrators was held in Citadel (DBICA HALL) on 8th July 2010. Fr. Harris Pakkam led the entire participants into a prayerful mood with his short video prayer. Welcoming the participants, Fr. Sagayaraj, the Economer invited everyone to take part actively. Fr. Emmanuel enlightened the group with solid presentation on Gospel Stewardship.

On the 4th July 2010 Don Bosco youth centre, Broadway witnessed its 66th membership day. 275 Vibrant youth of the locality have enrolled themselves as members of the DBYC for the year 2010-11.

PARTNERSHIP FOR QUALITY EDUCATION HELD AT DB-EGMORE, CHENNAI

Parents` Meeting for all the classes were held on various days in the DB Auditorium from 17.06.2010 - 19.06.2010. The meeting began at 5:30 p.m. The animator for all the sessions was Rev. Dr. V.V. Abraham SDB.

CHALLENGED TO EDUCATE

The Correspondents, Headmasters and Salesians working in schools of Chennai Province gathered at Don Bosco, Egmore for the first meeting organized by the commission for academic schools on 26th June 2010.
