As the Governor of the State, I am proud and privileged to be the Visitor of this University`` said His Excellency, Shri J B Patnaik, Governor of Assam today while inaugurating the new academic year of Don Bosco College of Engineering and Technology, Azara, Guwahati. Commenting on the main objectives of the University he said that providing quality education at the university level and making higher education more accessible to the disadvantaged sections of society are, indeed, the crying needs of our society today.
