Fr. Paul Puthanangady: The song ceases; the melody lingers after 365 days!
Bangalore, Nov 20 ``The song may be over...the melody you have created is immortal.`` These were the words of Sr. Margaret, the CRI President of Bangalore for Fr. Paul Puthanangady on the day of his funeral. After a year of his death, Fr. Paul was remembered by his confreres, relatives and students at Kristu Jyoti College on 14 November 2014. The day was marked by a requiem mass celebrated by Archbishop Dominic Jala of Shillong. The mass was attended by the 300 students of Kristu Jyoti College, about 30 relatives of Fr. The occasion marked the commencement of Child Rights Week being celebrated by People`s Action For Rural Awakening (PARA) as part of the many events to mark the 25th year of Declaration of Child Rights Convention (CRC).
