'Namma Kizhandainga' (Our Children). Other Chief Guests were Mr. Virender Razdan, General Manager of Sheraton Park, Rev. Fr. P. Christy SJ, Director of Loyola Institute of Business Administration, Ms. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, Editor INBOX 1305 & Principal Patron of People AIDS Initiative. Among the audience we had Mrs. Durga Stalin, wife of Deputy Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Mr. M. K. Stalin, Mr. Mysskin, Film Director & Actor of Nandalaala fame, Mr. Dharani, Film Director. Seven artists were present and they were presented with a recognition plaque by Mrs. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and Fr. A. Raj sdb, Executive Director of 'alaihal MEDIA'. Everyone who spoke on the occasion praised the initiative that is very creative and novel to make people donate generously. Actor Kathi pledged his support for People AIDS Initiative and presented a cheque to Mrs. Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi. He insisted that all should come forward to take paintings home in order to support care, education and shelter of children affected and infected with HIV/AIDS. Later, the exhibition of paintings was inaugurated at ARCOT Hall of Sheraton Park by both Actor Karthi and Mrs. Durga Stalin. A High Tea sponsored by Sheraton Park was served to all the invitees. The event attended by high profile guests was organized by People AIDS Initiative in association with 'alaihal MEDIA', INBOX 1305, Apparoa Galleries and Co-Hosted by Sheraton Park Hotels & Towers, Chennai. The original paintings, Prints on canvas, prints on Board are all on sale through online artaidsgallery of People AIDS Initiative and in People AIDS Initiative office, alaihal MEDIA centres in Trichy and Madurai, landmark and the Silk Route retail outlets. The event was volunteered by students of LIBA (LIBA Radius) and Visual Arts students of Stella Maris College. The sales are carried out under the slogan 'Donate lovingly and decorate your home lavishly'. Tiruchy, Dec. 17. ART AIDS; a charity show in aid children affected and infected with HIV/AIDS was launched in Chennai. 'alaihal MEDIA' along with INBOX 1305 was the chief organizer. This is the major initiative after the release of trilogy life...love...hope an year ago. The event started at 4 p.m. on 4th December 2010 at Greenways of Sheraton Park Towers & Hotels.  Chief Guest and Promoter the cause Mr. Karthi, Actor arrived on time to enjoy the shadow puppetry titled 'Namma Kizhandainga' (Our Children).
