Fr. Joyson Mulavarickal welcomed the gathering while Fr. Shibu sdb, the head of Technical Commission, Bangalore Province, inaugurated the programme. In his inaugural address he appreciated the initiatives and interests shown by the staff and managements of institutions in participating, and he explained the relevance of the theme in the present times.
Mr. Tom Stantly animated the group with visual aids, group discussions and participatory activities. ``I am very much satisfied about the seminar and I feel very positive about the growth of our technical institutions in the future,`` said Mr. George from Vaduthala.
In the concluding session Fr. Shibu presented the diverse activities of technical institutes at the national and provincial levels.
``It was very conducive place for a programme of this sort and we enjoyed both the sessions as well as the atmosphere at Don Bosco IMAGE,`` remarked Mr. Vijan, a participant.
All the delegates of the day had a pleasure trip through the Arabian Sea to conclude the day.
DBTech, the largest single organisation in India giving quality technical training in formal and non formal training, is second only to the central Government of India. Spread across the length and breadth of India in major cities and remote villages DB Tech empowers a large number of youngsters to find a living by inserting themselves in the fast advancing technological development in the world.
DB Tech which has its motto as Skilling India, plays a major role in nation building. This is achieved by collaborating with other like-minded NGO`s and the Ministry of Rural Development and Technical Training Organisations.
Keeping in mind the need to standardise the technical training being imparted, DB Tech organises Evaluation and Standardisation seminars in different parts of the country periodically.
