(Synopsis taken from Original Movie)

The film 'Bosco: Johnny Part II' portrays the heart-capturing life sketch of one of the most popular saints of the last millennium - Don Bosco.

Bosco is the touching tale of an ordinary priest turning out to be an extraordinary saint with the coveted title of - 'Friend of youth'. As you watch the story, you will see how Fr.Bosco's zeal, passion for the young and trust in God leads him  to found a Society to work for the welfare of youth - that part of human society which is so exposed  to danger and yet so rich in promise. When Fr. Bosco began his work with 9 street children, perhaps no one ever imagined the hurdles he would have to surmount in order to get his Society approved.  He was even branded insane.  He was harassed and persecuted; worse still, his very life was in danger.

The film focuses on Don Bosco's eighteen long years of agony and ecstasy of sweat and toil to carry out his mission for the young and also get his congregation approved by the church and accepted by the society. The film does not aim at presenting the mediocre, though inspiring, life sketch of a man who lived in far away Italy one centuary ago, but to stir our viewers with his message so that in some way may dedicate themselves to the cause of the young
