Tiruchy, Apr. 28. The Salesian Province of Tiruchy [INT] has undertaken various COVID-19 relief measures. In addition to all the relief works rendered in response to the global pandemic, the Salesians appreciated, honoured, and disbursed grocery-provisions for the health-sanitation task force of the Tiruchy Municipal Corporation.
These good samaritans who at great personal risk to their lives have been continuing their work unfailingly, are an example to society, in these times of tragedy. With maximum dedication, these unrecognised task force of the Tiruchy Municipal Corporation are functioning as angels of the streets.

The Provincial House Community at Tiruchy visited these untiring workers, who often go unnoticed and ignored, in their places of work, as a token of love and solidarity, in appreciation for their selfless dedication and sacrifice. Grocery-provision kits were handed over to each of them.
