Tiruchy, Apr. 23. The Retreat, the post-novitiate house of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy [INT] at Yercaud, continues to reach out to the most deserving senior citizens and tribal families in the Yercaud Hills. Having identified 225 families in 15 tribal villages, the young Salesian scholastics are making further inroads to reach out to the most deserving in need.
Grocery-provision kits are being regularly distributed in phases to specifically identified most deprived senior citizens and most marginalised families. The young scholastics have undertaken a survey, with the help of leader-volunteers from the  Don Bosco Oratory, to identify the unreached.

Apart from intensifying of prayers, the Salesians have now set out into field-action, surveying, identifying and addressing the needs and concerns of the tribal families dwelling in the Yercaud hills.
