It was a win-win situation for both the students and the companies. Students got a first-hand experience of attending an interview and a few even got selected for the second round of interview which will be held after the successful completion of their course. And the companies had a chance to unearth fresh talents from the remote places of the country.

The campus drive was inaugurated by the Mrs. Pitchama Arumugom, the Regional Deputy Director of Employment, Southern Region of Tamilnadu. Fr. Thomas Louis, correspondent of the college delivered the welcome address and Fr. Joseph Leo, Director of Don Bosco Vazhikaati, Chennai introduced clients, which had the likes of Ashok Leyland, Rane TRW Steering Systems, TAFE and Gestamp Sungwoo Stampings and Assemblies (P) Ltd., to the students.  Mrs. Pitchama Arumugom, during her presidential speech urged the students to dream big and work towards it tirelessly. In her own inimitable style she motivated the students and gave some valuable tips to win over the interviewers. Fr. Joseph Leo, Director of Don Bosco Vazhikatti, explained to the students the modus operandi of the campus interview.

More than 2750 students and 26 companies from Chennai, Trichy, Madurai and Bangalore participated in the Mega Campus Drive.  The other college students were brought to the venue by their college representatives. Out of 2750 students more than 1432 students were selected on the spot by the clients like Ashok Leyland, E-care India, TVS Sundaram Fasteners, Royal Enfield, etc.,

Team of Don Bosco Vazhikaati and the staff of Pastor Lenssen Polytechnic College assisted in the whole process of the Campus Drive.   The Students and the Student representatives of the other colleges uttered their gratitude to the Don Bosco Institution for arranging such a type of Recruitment Drive in this region.
