He said that the analysis of the report was received in the third week of January with a few recommendations and major findings and concerns. One of the major findings and concern for Hyderabad city is `child beggars\` whose number is increasing day by day.

The analysis recommended to address the issue in collaboration with Government and other NGOs as soon as possible. Mr. Raja Reddy thanked each and every staff and management involved in the survey.

Looking back into particulars of Don Bosco Navajeevan, Hyderabad had conducted Rapid assessment Survey of Street involved Children in collaboration with Don Bosco National Forum for Young at Risk, New Deli and don Bosco Research Centre, Mumbai.

Dr. Susen Mathew, a researcher from DBRC had organized a half-day workshop for the staff and volunteers of Don Bosco Navajeevan to train them on the guidelines and strategies of the survey. There were 25 field staff including volunteers from different Social work colleges to participate in the workshop.

The survey was conducted from 6 am to 12 noon covering 45 wards of 150 GHMC wards in total. These 40 wards were identified as key contact points as maximum street children were dwelling in this area. The survey took place from 1st week of May and concluded in the 3rd week.

After three weeks of survey, the members of field staff conducted 10 FGDs with Street children, Stake holders and NGOs in the last week of May. Overall the RAS took a month to be completed and the data of survey was sent to DBRC, Mumbai for analysis.

The report will be also submitted to the Government to address the recommendations given by DBRC and seek support from the Government along with different NGOs. He also thanked each and everybody who contributed their service and energy to bring out the RAS report.
