ORDINATION OF DN. AROGYA SAGAR

Hyderabad, Dec. 13. Deacon Narisetty Arogya Sagar SDB of Ravipadu Parish, Guntur diocese was ordained a priest on 8 December 2010 by his Lordship Rt Rev. Gali Bali, the Bishop of Guntur. The ordination ceremony was held at Sahayamatha Church, Don Bosco-Guntur. The whole celebration was marked by the grandeur of liturgical celebration and the large concourse of the faithful. More than 100 priests participated in this solemn ordination ceremony.
Several Salesians, diocesans, nuns and religious brothers and sisters were present on the occasion.
Fr. Sagar hails from Ravipadu Parish which is a traditional catholic Village. The parish rejoices as the 27th Priest is being ordained while his parents Mr. Jojaiah and Mrs Nirmala & his family is blessed to have the second priest being ordained from the family in the service of the Lord.
While we congratulate Fr Arogya Sagar, let us assure him of our prayers and fraternal support in his priestly ministry.
Congratulations to his priest brother, Fr Ravi of Guntur diocese & Fr Jayapaul, the rector of DB-Guntur, for having made this event a gracious and a memorable one.
