THE DIOCESAN CLERGY AROUND THEIR BISHOP TO PAY HOMAGE TO DON BOSCO'S RELICS
Guwahati, Jun. 17. Agartala, June 16: 16th June 2011 will definitely remain as a red letter day in the history of the Church in Tripura, because 27 priests together with their bishop came to honour and venerate the sacred Relic of St. John Bosco, the father and teacher of Youth. The unique role assigned by Rt. Rev. Lumen Monteiro, the bishop of Tripura to the relic of St. John Bosco that is on a 131 nation tour of the world which began on 31st January 2009 impressed everyone.
Commemoration of the  bi-centenary of Don Bosco's birth definitely will bring together friends and admirers of Don Bosco to honour him with all their might and strength and bring about transformation not only in Agartala, but the whole of Tripura.
