Seminar on HIV/AIDS and Substance Abuse

Dimapur, Aug. 30. A seminar on HIV/AIDS and Drug addiction was held at the Paul Bernick Hall of Salesian College of Higher Education, Dimapur, Ngaland, on 30th August 2018. The Chief resource person was Father Chacko, Director of Shalom Rehabilitation Centre, Chumukedia and Sister Rose CMC from the HIV Aids Rehabilitation centre, Chavara home, Purana Bazaar, Dimapur.

Father Chacko explained the causes of HIV/AIDS, the transmitting of the disease, signs and early symptoms, prevention measures for Drug Addiction.  

The resource persons treating the patients on a daily basis were able to tell the factual things about HIV Aids and Drug addiction and the methods to overcome. The students were well - informed and interacted with the resource persons.
