Fr Nestor Guria - 6th Provincial of Dimapur

Dimapur, Jun. 17. Fr Nestor Guria has been appointed as the sixth Provincial of the Province of St Francis De Sales, Dimapur, by Fr. Pascual Chavez, Rector Major of the Society of St. Francis De Sales.

Fr. James Poonthuruthil, the out-going Provincial of Dimapur conveyed the news. He said ''in the name of the Rector Major, I announce that Fr Nestor Guria has been appointed the new provincial of the Dimapur Salesian Province.'' The announcement was made at 1600 hrs IST.

Fr Nestor Guria, the new provincial-elect is presently the Vice Provincial of the Salesian Province of Dimapur.

BIS South Asia congratulates Fr Guria and wishes him grace-upon-grace as he takes up this responsibility.
