Pangloli, a tribal village in Maharashtra, is situated a few kilometers away from Lonavala, and boasts of a total of hundred and forty houses, with seventy five in neighboring Kunegaon. Don Bosco Technical Training Institute was proud to felicitate sixty four students with certificates on February 28, 2011. The students had completed their three months training program in Hotel Management and Catering in four sections namely Restaurant Service, Housekeeping, Production, and Bakery. Fr. Anaclette Dmello started this program for the marginalized, underprivileged, and the drop-out youth supported by Accenture & Vivanta by Taj President Hotel, and now carried on by Fr. Goa University Marathi Department held a two day seminar cum discussion on the Kristapurana of Fr. Thomas Stephens (1549-1619) from February 18 -19, 2011 at the Goa University Administrative Block Auditorium. It was a joint venture of Goa Vidyappeth Marathi Department and Don Bosco, Nashik. The theme of the seminar was: ''Kristapurana: Father Thomasviracit Kristapurana va tya Kavyagranthace Fr. Nelson Falcao hyani kelele Arvacinikarana - Rashtriya Carcasatra'' (Kristapurana of Father Thomas Stephens and the translation done by Fr. Nelson Falcao, sdb Volume of Poetry - A National Seminar). The brothers of Divyadaan, Salesian Institute of Philosophy, along with Rev. Fr. Felix Fernandes, organized an evening academy in honour of our Father and Founder, Don Bosco. The evening began as the students of Maria Vihar (the Salesian Sisters girls' boarding), gracefully invoked the name of the Lord through their prayer dance. Rev. Fr. Savio D'Souza, the Rector of Divyadaan, then welcomed the gathering as he wished each and every one the blessings of Don Bosco. He called one and all to journey with Don Bosco to the goal, that is; the salvation of our souls in Jesus Christ.
