The Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU) had a visit from the one and only member of the Antartica Expedition 2013 from Northeast India. Mr. Rituraj Phukan from Nagaon (Assam) was part of 30 member international expedition organized by legendary Robert Swan who is the only man who has walked both to North and South Poles. Member of 18 country venture in the Robert Swan led ``Inspire Antarctic Expedition 2013`` Mr Phukan addressed the ADBU students and faculty during an hour long morning session, 29 August.. After successfully organizing the first Inter College Drama Competition last year for colleges in Guwahati, Rangayan, the Dramatics Club of Don Bosco College of Engineering & Technology (DBCET), Azara, Guwahati organized the first All Assam Inter College Drama competition, 17 August. The Assam Don Bosco University`s Christian Students Forum kept its fresher`s social on Sunday 18 August 2013. The three hour function organized by the senior students consisted of songs and dances, musical drama and selection of the Miss & Mr. Sunshine. ``When this first Catholic University in India started (in 2008) we had only 10 Christian students.
