Navajeevan Bala Bhavan, Vijayawada distributes Cookies to the Slum Dwellers & Orphan Children

Hyderabad, Apr. 27. Navajeevan Bala Bhavan, Vijayawada, 25 April 2020: The Covid-19 Pandemic has brought a kind of disturbance in the lifestyle of the people all over the world. It is a worse situation for those who have no food to eat. At this time of distress Navajeevan Bala Bhavan extended their hands to help these poor and needy people. Navajeevan distributed 105 kgs of Cookies packets which were of COVID-19 Relief Materials sponsored by General Mills, to different people in different areas. Fr Ratna and the management of Navajeevan Bala Bhavan distributed these cake packets to nearly 455 families who were mostly slum people and the Migrants by taking the proper precautions. They also distributed the cakes to 290 people who were dwelling at the roadside. The cakes were also given to 60 orphan boys and girls in Chiguru. They were all grateful to Fr Ratna and the management for helping them in this time of need.

Medical Camp in Chiguru

The medical camp was conducted in Chiguru orphanage, run by Navajeevan Bala Bhavan. St Anne's of Luzern Sisters and the doctors came forward to do the screen test for all the children and to give away the medicines to them.  Along with the medicines they also gave masks, toiletry articles and towels to all the children and staff of Chiguru. Nearly 70 children and 11 staff members were benefited from it. The children and staff were thankful to Fr Ratna, Doctor and the sisters for providing them the medical aid.
   
Navajeevan also reaches out to 30 Migrant families from Uttar Pradesh and 50 Local families, who are without any basic documents. They were given the dry provisions and the toilet articles at Manipal Hospital, Karakatta.
