BREADS (Bangalore Rural Educational and Development Society) which has initiated a Covid-19 Action-Response Plan to reach out to meet the pressing needs of the daily wage labourers and migrant workers affected by the lockdown, is spearheading this humanitarian saga.

Previously, during the floods in Kerala and in parts of Karnataka in 2018-19, too BREADS had coordinated relief work on a massive scale. This Covid-19 response outreach by Don Bosco College Angadikadavu in its mission to the poor by making aailable provision kits, is also supported by BREADS.
