Signature Campaign to raise child rights issues in Chandigarh held

New Delhi, Jul. 29. Child Friendly City Initiative, Chandigarh - a Don Bosco initiative, in collaboration with the Anti-human Trafficking unit organized a signature campaign on 24th July, 2019 in Chandigarh to promote child rights in the city.
The civil society people came forward to promote and safeguard the rights of children by giving their signature. Students from MSW Centre for social work from Punjab University performed Nukkad Natak to create awareness on the safety of children. Children from Don Bosco Navjeevan Centre performed a play to aware the city of the girl child and to promote the right to education in the city. To support this initiative SHO, Mr. Sukhdweep Singh of woman and child support unit and Anti human trafficking unit, Neil Robert, Co-ordinator from District Legal Service authority and Father Regi Tom SDB - Director Don Bosco Navjeevan Society were present for the occasion.
