Sein Khynrow Parish Mowkyndeng celebrates its Silver Jubilee

Shillong, Jan. 14. Shillong: Sein Khynrow (Youth Group) Katholic Parish Mowkyndeng celebrated its 25th year of existence on the 13th January 2019 here at the Parish premises with hundreds of young people from the different villages of the Parish participated to thank God for all the blessings in the past 25 years.

The celebration started from 11 of January with the sessions from Mr Edi Shadap and the chief guest was Caldinus Dkhar from Barato Parish. In the evening there was adoration and debate competition, the topic was about ''coal mining''. The second day, Father Johnny Eapen animated the youth, while in the evening Bishop Victor Lyngdoh of Jowai Diocese came to celebrate the Holy Mass for them. The day was concluded with the dancing and singing competitions.

The concluding celebration was on a Sunday, the 13th of January, the Holy Mass was celebrated by the Provincial, Rev. Father Paul Olphindro Lyngkot concelebrated by Father Sylvester, the spiritual animator of SKKPM and Father Thiewbor. In the afternoon there was a felicitation programme for the former office bearers followed by a cultural programmes in which Mr Valarian Pakma graced the occasion as the chief guest.
