In his homily, the ordaining Bishop Lepcha gave deacon Samuel an unforgettable pastoral advice saying, ''Do not wait for people to come to you, you go to them.''

Father Samuel Rai's ordination motto is, ''Trust in the Lord and do good.'' (Ps. 37:3)

After a two and half hour ceremony which started on time at 10 a.m. faithful had ample time to greet the newly ordained while lunch was served for all visitors.

Father Samuel is assigned to Malbasey School as Boarding-in-charge.

George, left no stone unturned to ensure the smooth flow of the entire event starting with breakfast, decoration of the auditorium, the choir, sound system and video coverage, preparation of the altar, the felicitation and lunch for all offered at different counters.
