Scout and Guides Training Camp held in preparation of BOSCOREE 2018

Tiruchy, Sep. 27. Don Bosco District Association organized a training programme for the Scouts, Guides and Cubs from 20 to 26 September 2018 at Don Bosco Youth Village, Keeranur, Tiruchy Province. This was a joint venture of SDB and FMA of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy.  
This was conducted as a preparation in view of the forthcoming 13th National BOSCOREE to be held at Don Bosco Campus, Nashik in the month of December 2018.  

The participants were given training to become qualified trainers. There were programmes, competitions, ground practices along with theoretical classes and input sessions. A day was set aside for trekking.

The event culminated with a grand camp fire. During the valedictory function the trainers were given certificates. There were 62 participants for this training programme. The programme was organized by Father John Barnabass, in charge of Scouts and Guides of the Province.
