SARANALAYAM - Inauguration of a New Children's Home for Vulnerable Girls (INM)

Chennai, Aug. 25. Don Bosco Anbu Illam - Saranalayam (A New Children's Home for Vulnerable Girls) was blessed and inaugurated on 24 June, 2017 by Father K.M. Jose, SDB (Salesian Provincial of Chennai Province), in the presence of Mr. Senthil (District Child Protection Officer, Tiruvallur), Rev. Sr. Josephine, SMA (Mother General of SMA Congregation) and former directors of DBAI at Pope John's Garden, Madavaram, Chennai.

In a short cultural programme that followed the inauguration, Children staged their events and Rev. Father Joseph Leo, SDB, Rector and Director of DBAI, thanked everyone who were instrumental in the construction of Saranalayam. More than 250 children and other invitees and guests participated in the event.
